Rewinding Life Just For You: St. George

For the last weekend of John's semester break we joined our friends for yet another trip. We met four other families in St. George over Labor Day weekend to go to the lake. The Nelson's were kind enough to let everyone stay at their family's home again. We got there Friday evening for a BBQ and a pool party. Once we put the kids to bed we had fun staying up entirely too late talking. The next morning the guys woke up bright and early and headed out to the lake to get in some prime wakeboarding time. They stayed out there for a couple of hours and then joined us back at the house for breakfast. Afterwards, we all headed back to the lake for some fun.

Bentley loved digging in the dirt and playing in the water. At one point we all crowded into the boat and took turns riding the banana tube. The guys pretended like they didn't want to go, but I think that they had the most fun out there. Unfortunately, a huge storm hit the lake later that afternoon so we had to head home sooner than we were expecting. This gave us plenty of time to get cleaned up and out the door for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. As I've mentioned in previous posts...the portable dvd player we bought for our trip to Texas is already proving it's worth in our family. We set it up at the dinner table for the babies and thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We had to head home right after dinner since Bentley had an appointment with an allergist early the next morning. Bentley only got 10 minutes worth of nap time all day so as soon as we got in the car he fell asleep. It's tough having so much fun!
