Home Sweet Home

Instead of flying right back home after the reunion, I decided to hitch a ride with my parents back to their house so that we could spend a few extra days with them before ending our trip. I love being home and now that Bentley is a little bit older he is also beginning to discover all of the great things that Nana and Papa's house has to offer. My sister Brittany also joined us in Midland with her family. Cooper was Bentley's little shadow the entire week and it was so cute watching the two of them bond.

The best thing about this trip was that John had an entire week to get caught up on his school load. He stayed at school until almost midnight every day and by the time that we got home he had completed all of his patient records that have been overwhelming him since the first day of school. He is now back to an 8-5 schedule which we all LOVE!

"Cheesing" it up while playing with the kitchen set and keyboard

Playing with Papa and Cooper

Riding Papa's train

Helping Nana pull weeds

Nana scored some serious points with Bentley when she pulled out this toy

We spent SO much time out on this swing set

We of course made a stop at the cemetary to visit Chad's grave

Playing Chad's wind chime at the cemetary
