The day has finally come when I can say that we only have ONE year left of dental school! John just finished his Spring finals last Friday and now has a couple of weeks off before Summer term starts. Unfortunately it's not much of a break for John because he's scheduled to take the GRE at the end of the break. You'd think he's taken enough tests to prove his intelligence, but a majority of the Orthodontic programs all require applicants to take the GRE as well. As you can imagine, John isn't too enthused about studying over his break. The good news is that once he's done with this test we can begin the application process and be one step closer to the end goal.
We did manage to squeeze a few fun things in as a family before the studying began. To kick-off our break we had a BBQ with some friends on Monday night at a nearby park. The girls enjoyed chatting and the boys had fun playing some Bocce Ball.
Then on Tuesday John took another short break from studying to enjoy the 94 degree weather with friends at the pool! This was Bentley's first time swimming and he really seemed to enjoy it until the splashing wars began. I really look forward to spending a lot more time at the pool this summer!

Yay for one year left!! How exciting :) You guys look so cute as always...tell John good luck for us, we will be thinking about him.
I am so jealous that the weather is nice enough to go swimming.
