After dinner, we all gathered together in the family room. My dad is really big on skits at family reunions so my mom thought it would be fun for each of the kids and their families to prepare a skit about my dad to perform for him that night. We all laughed SO hard during these skits and little Cade (age 4) definitely stole the show when he started his skit with the phrase, "When I die..." This can only be appreciated if you know my dad, but we were all rolling with laughter. Even though I wasn't ready to leave to come back home, it was a great night to end our trip. As soon as the festivities were over we packed up our car and prepped ourselves for the 15 hour drive ahead of us. Yes, we are crazy for driving during the night (especially when you don't check the weather and you end up in a snow storm), but yes, it was completely worth it!!

Melanie,
You must be feeling better to get all these posts done. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them and seeing all the pictures. We loved having you all here for the holidays. Wish you lived closer so we could do it more often. Sending lots of love you each one of you. Hugs and kisses for Bentley.
