Does he look any older?

A week ago we celebrated John's 27th birthday, and he was in heaven with all of the sugar that I fed him that day. He got donut holes and chocolate milk for breakfast, a pazookie for dinner (among other things), and then birthday cake that night! Luckily, John only had a half day at school so we got to spend a lot of time together on his birthday. I think his most rewarding gift was being able to put about 20+ orthodontic program applications in the mail. We only have two more to send, woohoo!

That evening we went to BJ's (our new favorite restaurant) for dinner and it was SO yummy! Even though we were having birthday cake later on that night, John couldn't pass up the free birthday pazookie at BJ's. Bentley doesn't usually behave too well when we go out to eat, but he did awesome and kept us entertained with his funny faces. Afterwards, we headed home and had just a few of John's friends from school over for cake and ice cream. One thing that I have learned about birthday candles...if you're going to use individual candles past the age of 10(instead of the numbers) then you need to buy some higher quality candles that don't take 1 minute per candle to light. Sorry to anyone who had to eat a bite of wax with their cake. Only 3 more years until 30, ahh!
