Last Thursday night we got all dressed up and headed to John's senior gala at the Red Rock casino. It was such a fun evening to celebrate being done with school! It was particularly nice to be able to see some of our friends one last time before we all go our separate ways. We started the evening off with a yummy dinner which was followed by an awards ceremony. You might be tired of hearing about how awesome my husband is, but I'm not done bragging yet! He came home with 5 awards including: (1) Inducted to OKU national dental honor society, (2) inducted to E. Steven Smith honor society, (3) Dental Implant student award from AAOMS, (4) American Association of Orthodontists Award, and (5) Best Overall Student Team Member (Team 2). I am so proud of all his hard work and it's nice to see when other people recognize it too!
The dance floor was opened up after the awards and then we ended the night with a raffle. There were some pretty nice prizes being handed out, but we ended up with a $15 gift card to Olive Garden. That ought to cover soup, salad, and breadsticks right?
