Polar Express

Last night was our ward Christmas party and the theme this year was The Polar Express. We all dressed up in our pajamas and had to present our conductor with a Believe ticket in order to enter the "dining car" (aka the cultural hall). Once there, we enjoyed a yummy breakfast for dinner complete with waffles, hashbrowns, sausages, and hot chocolate.

One of the stops on the Polar Express was the North Pole where all of the children were able to visit Santa! Bentley (along with most other kids his age) was not too thrilled about sitting on Santa's lap. In fact, while I was taking this picture my friend looked over at me and said "oh dear, he's not breathing." He calmed down a little bit once Santa gave him a bell to shake, but it took several minutes to calm him down after the incident. Maybe next year...
